Angie Be, representing France with her debut single "Soundwaves", won the 9th Eurodanceweb Award. Released in the summer of 2009, the song is written by Alexander Perls and composed by Olivier Visconti, the dj and producer RLS (also known with his real name Cédric Lorrain) and Stephane Lozac'h.
After working as a top model and actress, Angie Be shot to fame in the French show biz thanks to her recent participation in the reality show called "Secret Story".
The second place of this year's Eurodanceweb Award was achieved by one of the most successful dance acts of the first decade of the 2000's: Lasgo representing Belgium with "Gone".
Third was the Finnish dance group G-Powered with their song "Kohti Unelmaa", also recorded in English with the title "The Dream".
The top 5 also featured Dj Project from Romania with "Hotel" and Dj Smash from Russia with the big hit "Moscow never sleeps".
